With all the busyness and craziness of motherhood last week, I forgot to greet myself and this blog a Happy Birthday. Yes, this blog turned a year old last week (August 10)!  Well, in reality, I started this blog July of last year but because of some tweaking that I did to the codes without backing it up (because I didn't know how to at that time - Lol!), it got messed up so I had to start all over again.  So I started writing again and re-doing everything on this blog August of last year and have then on evolved from a personal blog to a blog focused on motherhood, parenting and family life.  

What can I say?  I'm just so happy to have met a lot of wonderful people online and in real-life that I never thought possible.  I mean, I thought blogging was just all about writing and venting out and sharing your thoughts and earning a few extra $$, but it also is possible to meet beautiful people through it.  I'm happy to have learned a lot of valuable lessons and tips in blogging through some of the expert bloggers I've known online (and some I've actually met in person), to have been a part of events that brought joy and fun to my family and kids and to have shared meaningful posts and a little bit of inspiration to those who have been regularly reading this and my other blogs and have been a part of my blogging journey.  I'm truly thankful to have stumbled upon this opportunity to be a blogger - and I am extremely proud that I am one. :)

Well, I'm still on the planning stage for my giveaway as it will be a giveaway to celebrate a lot of things and not just of this blog.  My other blogs are turning 1 this year (by November) so I'll include that in my celebration giveaway, too.  I'll just announce it when everything's all set.
