My daughter, Gaby, couldn't hide her excitement as we bought the dress, white stockings, and shoes yesterday that she'll be wearing for her first Holy Communion tomorrow morning. She'd been waiting for this event since last year when her sister (my eldest), Gwen, had her first communion as she had always wanted to join us every time we take the communion during mass. Well, the long wait is over for her and she just can't get over the joy of finally taking her first Communion and of how pretty I'm sure she'll be wearing her white dress. :)
Another momentous occasion for my daughter and in my life as a mom. :)
